The composition depicts a woman known as a tsujigimi walking at night beneath the moon. She is shown wearing a black kimono, with a cloth covering her head and a straw mat held in her arms. A pale moon appears through the clouds above her, creating a quiet and distinctive nighttime atmosphere.
