Wonderful vintage American-made Santa Claus head Christmas ornament, dating approximately to the 1940s–1950s. This large figural ornament features a hollow molded composition/papier-mâché style Santa head with hand-painted details, including a red Santa hat, cream-colored beard, sleepy painted eyes, and green holly leaves with red berries. The original-style crimped silver-tone metal ornament cap is clearly stamped “MADE IN USA” and retains its wire hanger and red ribbon. Measures approximately 5" tall, not including the hanging ribbon. Please see measurement photos for exact dimensions. Vintage pre-owned condition with authentic age-related wear including surface marks, scuffs, discoloration/toning, paint wear and small areas of paint loss. The metal cap also shows age-related wear.
