Central large blue peony blossom with red peony buds, multi-toned foliage and a small red butterfly. Natural colour washes and red outline on petals. Unglazed base rim with faded iron-red seal mark, consistent with the period. Condition: Good antique condition,  one hairline crack to the rim. Minor wear on rim, tiny old glaze pitting and age-related discoloration.
