Antique Japanese Kutani Pheasant Floral Small Dish – Hand Painted – 12cm A charming antique Japanese Kutani porcelain small dish , decorated with a finely detailed pheasant and floral scene in traditional iron red, black, brown and soft gilt tones. The central design features a pheasant among flowering plants and foliage, with additional bird and botanical details throughout the composition. The reverse is also decorated with hand-painted red and grey leaf motifs, and the base carries a red Kutani mark . The dish shows the character expected of an older Japanese ceramic piece, including extensive glaze crazing and natural age-related wear.
