Beautiful vintage Chinese cloisonné cabinet vase featuring a highly detailed 360° continuous design of four distinct flying cranes in varied poses among stylized blue and white clouds. Features a rich reddish-brown gold aventurine enamel ground with sparkling metallic flecks, extensive fine gold-colored cloisonné wirework, and turquoise, blue, green, white, red and black enamel accents.   Decorative geometric borders surround the neck and base, finished with gold-tone metal rims. Bottom has a vivid turquoise-blue counter-enamel finish; interior is dark enameled. Measures approx. 5.5” tall with a 2” top opening.   Unmarked; exact maker and date unknown. Design and construction are consistent with vintage 20th-century Chinese export cloisonné. Very good vintage condition with enamel intact and minor age-related tarnish/wear to the gold-tone rim.
