This authentic vintage 1980 "Rockies Colorado" belt buckle was manufactured in Chicago by The Great American Buckle Company and features a highly detailed, high-relief wilderness scene with mountains, an eagle, and elk antlers. Marked with Serial Number 144 and a crisp "Made in USA" stamp on the reverse, the heavy pewter-zinc alloy buckle is fully functional with solid, intact hardware. The front face exhibits sharp design lines but shows some noticeable vintage character, including minor plating loss and finish flaking along the upper-left edge that reveals the gray base metal beneath the golden brass-electroplated finish.
