All gemstones are tested with the Presidium ll Gem Tester which does not distinguish between lab created/synthetic and or natural gem stones. Beautiful sterling silver articulated dangle earrings featuring two complementary shades of purple and raspberry-red gemstones. Each earring is set with a larger faceted oval lavender-purple stone, consistent in appearance and testing with amethyst, suspended beneath a smaller deep raspberry-purple faceted gemstone. The smaller stones produced a higher reading on a Presidium Gem Tester II than the larger amethyst-colored stones and may be rhodolite garnet, spinel, or another gemstone variety. Exact gemstone identity has not been laboratory verified, so they are conservatively described as multi-gemstone. The earrings are unmarked, but the silver-colored metal was independently acid tested and produced a result in the sterling silver / .925 range. The articulated construction allows the lower amethyst stones to move freely, giving the earrings a lovely bit of movement and sparkle when worn.
