The blue and red stones were also tested with a Presidium Gem Tester II and produced readings in/above the glass range. Vintage Sterling Silver Turquoise & Coral Southwestern Bead Necklace Delicate vintage Southwestern-style necklace featuring slender sterling silver tubular beads accented with irregular turquoise and red coral chips/nuggets. Small round silver beads separate the colorful stones, creating a classic Southwestern turquoise, coral and silver combination. The necklace measures approximately 17 inches long and weighs approximately 3.99 grams. The silver tubular and round bead components were acid tested and produced results consistent with sterling silver / 925. The screw-type barrel closure did not test as sterling silver and is therefore not represented as sterling. The blue and red stones were also tested with a Presidium Gem Tester II and produced readings in/above the glass range. Based on their appearance, natural variation, matrix and construction, they are believed to be turquoise and coral. Gemstone/material identification has not been professionally certified and is provided as a good-faith identification based on testing and visual examination. No maker’s mark or tribal attribution was found. Vintage pre-owned condition with natural patina, tarnish and surface wear consistent with age.
