This custom made ring features one large 16mm octagon shaped purple stone surrounded by twenty four full cut round diamonds with a total diamond weight of approximately two thirds of a carat. These gems are nicely matched and GOOD QUALITY ! The purple stone, which may be man made because created stones were commonly used in this era (1950's), is clean with exceptionally bright vibrant color, and the NATURAL and GENUINE diamonds are flawless to the naked eye (SI or better) and white (H). These gems are mounted in a LARGE ring that weighs a SUBSTANTIAL NINE GRAMS total and sits 22mm (7/8") wide on the finger (from the hand to the knuckle). Crafted of PURE (not plated or filled) 14K YELLOW GOLD (acid tested and guaranteed), this ring is a size 6 that can be resized larger by your jeweler (anywhere up to a size 10).
