Vintage 1951 Chevrolet Jet Airplane Hood Ornament (OEM G.M.-C-2) Origin: Genuine General Motors / Made in the USA Identification: Cast underside marking G.M. - C - 2 Application: Factory equipment on 1951 Chevrolet passenger cars (Styleline, Fleetline, Deluxe, Bel Air), also widely used on custom rat rod and hot rod builds. Material: Heavy non-magnetic diecast pot metal / zinc alloy with original copper under-plating visible on the underside. Dimensions: Measures approximately 16" in length with a ~6" wingspan. Hardware: Both threaded mounting studs remain intact and firmly anchored. Condition Notes Solid casting with no cracks, breaks, or missing sections.
