These fabrics were made to mix and match.to create eclectic spaces and embrace a new age of chinois. This offering is for ONE large remnant of original old stock unused unwashed smooth upholstery weight cotton...not a nubby traditional texture...but a familial patternry just the same. This pattern is unheard of and I am certain I am the only beholder of it...I have made pillows and recovered a headboard for a glammy Palm Beach gal years ago...and this is what I have left. A candy colored pastel colorway that flies in the face of every other asian textile ever made that would never have these colors...but the 30’s and 40’s were a interesting time in the ideology of kitsch that transcend the old world of how these fabrics were designed with a new aesthetic that embraced ever genre...and not strictly oriental. These fabrics were made to mix and match...to create eclectic spaces and embrace a new age of chinois. A softest gray ground with candied merlot red...bubble gum coral pink...lollipop lime...a dynamite pop of chartreuse lime...dark chocolate...and this subtle yet radical robins egg blue that literally make my head spin...and finished with white accents. Measures 23 inches wide x 56 inches long. For someone special who GETS it!!! Flawless. Note: I’ve included a few photos of my own pillow of this fabric...which are not included in this listing :) I take returns...but who wants to take a return right?
