Antique Japanese Cloisonne Moriage Enamel Egrets w/ Green Foil Vase Meiji Period A very RARE, very OLD little gem.   Moriage enamel pieces are very hard to come by. Beautiful white Egrets surrounding entire vase are gorgeous.   All done in rare Moriage technique where enamel is built up giving 3D effect raised above the surface. Dark green ginbari over brilliant silver foil fill the upper ground. Nice solid rims with top rim into throat indicating a high level of craftsmanship.  Nice patina. The features of the Egrets are done without wires. Fine Moriage technique is superbly done.   Unsigned, but definitely the work of a cloisonne expert. Flash washes out some.  Green is a little darker on display.  I provided many photos to review. This one is a miniature.  Approximately 3 3/4" Tall, 2" Wide. Very good condition.   Excellent for age and rarity. The last two pics show, the best I can, a very light impact and a few underglaze hairlines.  I took many pics.  Only showed in the two pics I provided.  Visible in hand if looking for it and proper light angle.  Negligible on display.    Nice patina to rims.
