Beautiful hand-painted Japanese Kutani deep well cabinet plate dating to the late Meiji period (circa 1890–1912). The center depicts figures gathered in a landscape with pine trees, framed by elaborate iron-red, gilt, floral, and fan borders. A finely painted scenic landscape panel completes the decoration. The plate features the rich enamel colors and hand-painted detail that Kutani ware is known for and displays beautifully. Measurements Approximately 8½ inches diameter Condition Very good antique condition. Minor enamel/paint wear to the outer rim consistent with age and normal handling.
