Inner chip carving. Egg and dart type edges. Carved medallion escutcheon. Fitted interior with gold out mirror (mirror cracked). Two compartments with lids. Center area with old fabric. Bottom center with pin cushy (probably replacement pin cushion). Has its old lock (NO Key). Antique. Over 100 years old. Condition fair to good for age. Hinges good. Small chip off back corner of box (pictured). Small flakes off key opening on escutcheon. Inner mirror cracked ( could be replaced). Mirror frame loose (probably how mirror cracked). New owner could affix mirror to top so it doesn't move if they wanted. One compartment lacking its knob. With that said the carving on the top is incredible and better than most you'll find. I left it as I found it, so you can do as much or little restoration as you want. It displays beautifully with a great patina. Guaranteed antique. Overall measure about 9 1/4" long x 6 3/8" wide x 2 5/8" tall at extremes. Look at pictures as they are part of description. Shipping total includes insurance, and delivery confirmation.
