The miniature vessel features a unique two-toned design: the exterior is decorated with a fine underglaze blue ( sometsuke ) lakeside mountain landscape, while the interior boasts an opulent Kinrande style decorated with rich iron-red enamel and hand-painted metallic gold gilt leaves. At the very center of the well sits a finely painted miniature scene depicting a traditional pagoda shelter and a pine tree by the water, framed by double blue rings.
