Top of lid had been altered, perhaps shaved down to fit in a display cabinet. One of several in a collection by Long Time Norfolk VA Physician. Collection is just being sold by his estate. Obtained by him as a Army Medical Officer in post war occupied Germany, as mementos of his Army Service there during WW2.
