This is a nice selection of EASTER Holiday postcards that are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s.  This is a mixture that is EMBOSSED and AIR BRUSHED with color.  The embossing makes the images on the postcards stand up off the paper.  One of these also has a GOLD trim CROSS in the design.   These postcards have the classic Easter motifs such as: EASTER EGGS, FLOWERS, etc.  Air Brushed are unique postcards.  They are attractive postcards with good detail, which makes them pleasing to look at. They were made by different publishers.   Note that the one with the pink and light brown flowers was actually a "Birthday" postcard, and someone wrote over it for "Easter" Greetings.    AIR BRUSHED postcards are unique and they only had a "short life".  Most of these were "Printed In Germany" during the early years of the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915 era).  Air Brushed postcards were first made by embossing the paper, and then hand-coloring the paper by using an air-operated tool to spray paint the ink or dye onto the postcard. Those with GOLD TRIM had an extra step in that the gold was probably added afterwards, so that the gold color was not covered up.  Air brushed postcards have now become collector items. They are a pleasure to look at.   These are good postcards to add to a collection. They are nicely made, and will appeal to collectors because of their age, their colorful and attractive nature, and the way they capture life back in the early 1900s. Overall, a nice selection of antique novelty Easter postcards at a reasonable price.     The postcards are UNPOSTED (2) and POSTED (3) with cancel date in the 1908-1910 era.  The postcards were probably published in the 1908-10 era.  These postcards were "Printed in Germany" during the "Golden Age of Postcards" (1908-1915 era). They have DIVIDED backs.
