Vintage Navajo Foster Yazzie Sterling Silver Hand Stamped Concho Belt Features eleven 2” x 1 1/2” oval conchos with a 2" x 1 1/2” matching concho buckle on a 1 7/8” wide Black, Tony Lama, leather belt.  The front of the conchos are sterling silver and the back metal retainer straps appear to be copper. The buckle is all sterling with the exception of the latching hook. The belt will fit a 29" - 32" waist on current leather strap. The buckle and matching conchos are signed with the Foster Yazzie stamp on the back.  The total weight is 390 grams including the leather and silver. The silver has not been cleaned and does have tarnish.  The leather belt shows signs of age and use from normal wear.  The belt comes from a prestigious Pebble Beach, CA estate who was a lover and collector of Navajo items.  It was purchased in the 1970’s.
