Additionally, the push up mechanism is currently stuck. I have not made any significant attempts to free them apart from removing some old wax. Additionally, they have some surface nicks and marks. Victorian era beehive candlesticks crafted from solid brass with a classic turned design and square bases. These authentic English antiques feature the registered design number 223580 and "ENGLAND" stamped on the base edges. The set displays a rich aged patina, traditional beehive ribbing, and decorative knops. One candlestick has a noticeably bent upper rim, and both show signs of historical use including wax residue in the cups and verdigris on the underside.
