They feature a classic English beehive baluster stem accented by a unique square central node displaying an embossed bullseye design on each side. The pieces stand on a beautifully contoured round base with a gadrooned/scalloped rim. Measurements: - Height: Approximately 12 inches tall - Base Diameter: Approximately 5 inches wide Condition Report: This pair features a stunning, rich authentic antique patina and is in good, solid structural condition. Please note the following specific conditional details, which are highlighted in the listing photos: - Push-Up Mechanism: These feature an under-base push-rod mechanism. One candlestick retains its original, authentic flat circular thumb plate on the bottom of the rod and is fully intact. The second candlestick is missing the flat thumb plate, though the central rod itself is still present inside the base. - Top Sockets: There is sticky, aged black candle wax residue inside the cups from a previous owner securing candles. Aluminum foil inserts previously used to hold candles have been removed. - Wear and Patina: There is light verdigris and discoloration on the bases where old wax once sat. - Bottom Sticker: There is an old dealer or collector sticker on the underside of one base reading "Victorian 1840."
