SIZE: 5 3/8" tall when together to the edges and 4 3/4" wide at the base. The top brass hasp is 2 3/4" wide at the top and 3 1/2" long. (See pictures) This lock is in very good condition and works well. An antique STAR SOLID BRASS Trunk or chest lock with original barrel key! A rare and beautiful find! A lock style used from the late 1860's to the 1880's on high quality trunks. Well made, thick, and very HEAVY DUTY. Marked with patent dates in 1867 and 1868. Star Lock Works, Philadelphia. SIZE: 5 3/8" tall when together to the edges and 4 3/4" wide at the base. The top brass hasp is 2 3/4" wide at the top and 3 1/2" long.(See pictures) This lock is in very good condition and works well. It has a couple scratches and minor dings from use. A great lock for a high quality antique or new trunk or chest. This style lock is not reproduced.   Very hard to find, especially with the key!
