Pickle Dish Quilts are relatively rare due to their difficulty - this one is made from more than 2,000 tiny triangles embedded in curves which must meet up precisely to form rings. It is a beautifully done quilt with hand-quilting that outlines the thousands of pieces of patchwork and is in geometric patterns in the white spaces. This quilt is likely dated 1930’s-1940’s The back is unbleached muslin cotton as well as the binding -- which follows the scalloped border on all four sides. This quilt is completely hand pieced and hand quilted. The batting is lightweight. The quilt is in excellent vintage condition with no condition issues noted.
