The painting was done using the traditional technique, SETO Sometsuke(瀬戸染付). Sometsuke means Blue & White. The Maneki Neko has a pale and gentle expression that is unique to Sometsuke and matches any simple modern room. *SETO ware(瀬戸焼): The world's leading high-quality, white-fired pottery clay produces ceramics with beautiful glazes and paintings.
