Vintage Wendt Kuhn Marguerite Angel, Erzgebirge Germany, prior to 1956   A Precious Hand Painted Wooden Miniature Marguerite Angel Figurine in a white robe with the iconic marguerite flower crown and painted wooden wings. She’s holding a bunch of flowers and a letter. It measures ~1.25" tall.  Marguerite Angels from Wendt & Kühn Each have the iconic Crown of Marguerites in their hair. They are irresistibly charming in their delicate sweetness. They are miniature and so are all the exquisite details and tiny little treasures they cary - from the tiny apple to the candles on the tree.  Original sticker is missing so we can't date her exaclty, however she has wooden wings so we can say she is prior to 1956, from their site "i n 1955/56, a green dot was added to the base of the figurines next to the logo. This marked a change in the material used for the angel wings, from wood to plastic. Up to this time, the wafer-thin wooden wings often snapped off when they were being attached to the body, packaged or transported. The solution lay in this new material." Condition: Good vintage condition for 70+ year old piece — light wear consistent with age, paint chipping, priced accordingly. Please look carefully at the pictures and ask any questions.
