You are bidding on: Antique Art Deco Beaded Drawstring Purse c1920s This crocheted purse is dripping in beads of all the same tone...which look like carnival glass and may possibly be cut steel. I'm not sure. They have a shimmering cascade of colors ranging from browns, blues and violets like an oil slick. The drawstring has two beads that look to be Czechoslovakian. There are a few breaks in the crochet work along the fold line at the drawstring where the fringe hangs down. There are also tassels on the bottom of the bag. The lining of the purse still looks great. A few loose strings and minor bead loss ~ primarily to the strap at its base. The beads themselves are gorgeous and could be repurposed if you felt the purse is too far gone...although to me it still seems quite viable.     Good to Very Good Antique Condition.
