Finely hand-worked with delicate gilt wires forming scrolling cloud motifs and floral medallions on a rich green ground. The lower band displays deep navy panels with multicolor blossoms framed by scalloped white borders, and the lid is topped with a gilt finial. A lovely example of early Japanese craftsmanship in miniature form — ideal for collectors of cloisonné and Japanese decorative arts.
