Vintage Chinese Hand Carved Aventurine Necklace with a Filigree Box Clasp that opens and closes tightly. It features graduating gleaming honey color gems that have been hand carved in a nugget shape which was very popular during the Chinese Export period during the 1920's to 1930's. These gems have achieved a glowing aged patina. Hand knotted with matching cord. It measures 26 inches in length. The gems graduate in size from the largest gem being 3/4 inch long to 1/2 inch at the clasp. The filigree clasp is marked Silver. In very fine condition. weighs 122.3 grams.
