Vintage Chinese Carved Translucent Green Jade Necklace with a Filigree Box Clasp that opens and closes tightly. It features graduating lustrous gems that have been hand carved into a nugget shape which was very popular during the 1920's to 1930's. This necklace has achieved a glowing aged patina. Hand knotted with green cord. It measures 26 inches in length. The gems graduate in size from the largest gem being 7/8 inch long to just over 1/2 inch at the clasp.
