Cold, heavy seas surrounded this new United States battleship as it steams ahead on a practice cruise. 16-inch rifles just jut out from the two forward turrets, while dual-purpose batteries point skyward from amidships. Our research believes this might be the Battleship USS Iowa. Photo is Dated: February 3, 1943. THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC PHOTO, NOT A COPY OR SCANS. Photo Measures Approximately: 7.5 x 6 Inches.
