Hand Woven Wicker Lidded Basket with Carved Wood Lizard Centerpiece The basket has no markings so I'm not sure of its origin or age. It's in very good condition with only a few breaks in the wicker. The wicker is very finely woven. It's a little over 5" in diameter and 2 1/2" tall. The center of the lid is a carved wooden lizard that is woven into the lid. The bottom also has a wooden centerpiece woven in. The top carving is 3" in diameter, the wood in the base is about 3 3/4" in diameter. The lid only fits correctly in one position. See Pics.
