This is a really nice basket, made in Indonesia, this basket is about 9” tall and 12.5” at its widest point. The lid has a wooden, lizard, sitting on the wood part of the lid. Flaws, there are four reeds missing fastening down the wooden lizard part to the woven lid part. There is also some golden discoloration on the top of the basket and on the lid. Please look at photos carefully. They are the major part of the description. This is a really nice basket, made in Indonesia, this basket is about 9” tall and 12.5” at its widest point. Made by a skilled craftsmen this piece has a polished wood base and side 3.5” tall, then they have woven the remainder in a tight decorated weave.
