When I look at a basket I typically think not expensive nothing to special. However when I saw this I said that looks old. It turns out it is old. That’s when I realized that this is special. Considering its age it is in good condition. When my client told me how much they paid for this basket my curiosity got the east of me.   When I look at a basket I typically think not expensive nothing to special.   However when I saw this I said that looks old. It turns out it is old.  The handle felt super strong and the inside of the basket looks carved in some areas. That’s when I realized that this is special.  Considering its age it is in good condition.  The handle is a little loose.  Also one of the curled waves by the handle is broken.   There is some discoloration to the wood from oxidation age age.the side of the basket ha a few chips and rubs.
