This building came from a matching collection of vintage Japanese-made railroad and village buildings intended for antique train layouts, Christmas villages and putz displays. It features cream-colored walls, a reddish-brown roof, green base, yellow window trim and an original “SCHOOL” roof sign. The underside is embossed “MADE IN JAPAN.” A circular opening in the rear was intended to allow a small light to illuminate the building. No light, socket or wiring is included. The building remains in attractive vintage condition with age-related paint wear, scratches, discoloration, small edge chips and some damaged or missing portions of the delicate window inserts.
