View VINTAGE SOLID STERLING SILVER UKRAINIAN ORTHODOX CROSS CRUCIFIX "SAVE & PROTECT" with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. (1 7/16" tall with rotating bale; weight approx. 1.8 g) Crucifix pendant featuring a Slavonic Orthodox artisan-style ornate "budded" design with a high-relief image of the Crucified Savior. The back bar of the bale bears two punch marks, one of which displays the "925" hallmark indicating the "sterling" purity. Vintage solid sterling silver medium-sized and sturdy (approx. 1 7/16" tall with rotating bale; weight approx. 1.8 g) Crucifix pendant featuring a Slavonic Orthodox artisan-style ornate "budded" design with a high-relief image of the Crucified Savior. He is depicted according to the Orthodox iconographic tradition, with His feet are uncrossed and His head crowned with large halo. The reverse displays inscription of the traditional Slavonic Orthodox prayer meaning "Save and Protect". The prayer reminds us that Christ the Savior is with us to save and protect a person wearing the cross from every evil and from all enemies visible and invisible.  The back bar of the bale bears two punch marks, one of which displays the "925" hallmark indicating the "sterling" purity. It has been confirmed for both the pendant and the bale using the silver acid test.  Next to the “925” print, there is the "Tryzub" (Trident) official assay mark of Ukraine (highlighted on a picture).  The pendant has visual vintage appearance with signs of aging and wear that might include diminished quality of the artwork, deformations of its original shape, scratches, dents, and patches of discoloration or patina.
