(1 3/4" tall with rotating bale, ~1 3/8” without the bale; weight approx. 2.8 g) Crucifix pendant featuring a Slavonic Orthodox plain and humble right-angled design with a detailed high-relief image of the Crucified Savior. Vintage or antique solid sterling silver medium- to larger sized and sturdy (approx. 1 3/4" tall with rotating bale, ~1 3/8” without the bale; weight approx. 2.8 g) Crucifix pendant featuring a Slavonic Orthodox plain and humble right-angled design with a detailed high-relief image of the Crucified Savior. The reverse displays inscription of the traditional Slavonic Orthodox prayer meaning "Save and Protect". The prayer reminds us that Christ the Savior is with us to save and protect a person wearing the cross from every evil and from all enemies visible and invisible. The back bar of large shield-shaped bale of the pendant bears two punch marks, one of which displays the "925" hallmark indicating the "sterling" purity. It has been confirmed for the pendant using the silver acid test. The pendant has visual vintage or antique appearance with many signs of aging and wear that might include diminished quality of the artwork, deformations of its original shape, scratches, dents, and patches of discoloration or patina.
