Overall measurement are APPROX: 22-1/4" L. x 3" H x 1-3/8" W. Four Patent dates:  11-3-08, 5-8-06, 6-23-96 & 7-17-94 . This is in very nice condition for user or collector. Not sure of the kind of wood (maybe cherry?) but it has a nice patina. It It has typical dings, scratches, stains and scars as you would expect for its age and use. The two vials are in perfect working condition and it has two nice brass end pieces...and it has very nice brass overall trim. The levels have not been taken out to clean, but would clean up better, especially the vials and the areas around them, if you wanted to restore completely.
