Overall measurement are APPROX: 24-1/4" L. x 3-1/8" H x 1-3/8" W. It has three Patent dates:   6-2-91, 2-4-96, 6-28-96.  Not sure of the kind of wood (maybe cherry)? It It has typical dings, scratches, stains and scars as you would expect for its age and use. The two vials are in perfect working condition and it has two nice brass end pieces...and it has very nice brass overall trim (BRASS NOT POLISHED). The levels have not been taken out to clean, but would clean up better, especially the vials and the areas around them, if you wanted to restore completely.
