Beautifully refinished antique solid wood index card filing box. Inside is 5" wide x 2 7/8" deep x 4 1/4" tall. The box is constructed of 1/4" thick wood and uses finger joints for strength. Broken hinges and clasp were replaced with period appropriate ones. Beautifully refinished antique solid wood index card filing box. The box measures 5 1/2" wide x 3 1/2" deep x 4 3/4" tall. Inside is 5" wide x 2 7/8" deep x 4 1/4" tall. The box is constructed of 1/4" thick wood and uses finger joints for strength . Broken hinges and clasp were replaced with period appropriate ones. Refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand-polished with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax to a soft luster. New red felt lines the entire indie. Excellent condition.
