View Antique Mid 1900s Solid Oak Desk-Top Index Card File Box — Refinished & Lined with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Inside is 5" wide x 2 3/4" deep x 3 5/8" tall. The box is constructed of 5/16" thick oak and uses finger joints for strength. Broken hinges and clasp were replaced with period appropriate ones. Hinges keep lid open at 90º. Beautifully refinished vintage solid oak index card filing box. The box measures 5 5/8" wide x 3 1/4" deep x 4 1/4" tall. Inside is 5" wide x 2 3/4" deep x 3 5/8" tall. The box is constructed of 5/16" thick oak and uses finger joints for strength . Broken hinges and clasp were replaced with period appropriate ones. Hinges keep lid open at 90º. Refinished with several coats of MinWax Satin Varnish and hand-polished with 0000 steel wool and paste-wax to a soft luster. New green felt lines entire inside of box. Excellent condition.
