Striking vintage Mid Century Modern magazine rack dating to approximately the 1960s, featuring a sculptural dark stained wood frame with translucent olive green Plexiglass or acrylic panels. The panels feature a classic 1960s repeating concentric circle pattern with finely ridged rings that create wonderful depth and dimension, especially as light passes through them. The combination of warm wood, olive green translucent panels and bold geometric circles gives this piece a fantastic authentic retro look. Sculpted curved wood end supports, rounded wood rails, metal support rods and period slotted hardware complete the design. An especially unusual and hard to find piece of vintage Mid Century decor that works beautifully as both a functional magazine holder and a statement accent. Measures approximately 13 inches wide, 10.75 inches deep and 13.5 inches tall. Condition is good vintage condition with age appropriate surface wear consistent with its age and use. The rack is solid and sturdy, but the bottom does not sit completely flat on a level surface, resulting in a slight wobble, likely from age related shifting or unevenness over the decades.
