This elaborate Fabergé-inspired decorative egg features a creamy ivory enamel-style finish accented with ornate gold-tone floral garlands, bows, leaves and colorful jewel-tone cabochon accents. The open center reveals a wonderfully detailed miniature carousel featuring a prancing horse, swan and unicorn. The carousel mechanism has been tested and works—the carousel rotates properly when operated. Approximately 4½ inches tall; please refer to measurement photo for exact dimensions. This example is especially desirable because it retains an extensive group of its original presentation materials, including the original burgundy Joan Rivers fitted presentation box, Certificate of Authenticity with envelope, Imperial Treasures III booklet and original Carousel Egg paperwork identifying it as the fourth egg in the collection.
