Beautiful vintage Mexican convertible brooch and pendant featuring colorful mother-of-pearl and abalone shell inlay. The rectangular design features a dimensional shell flower with scrolling stems and leaves set against a rich deep-blue background. Iridescent abalone accents along the bottom add beautiful flashes of blue, green, pink and purple as the light changes. Designed to be worn two ways — as a traditional brooch using the pin and clasp on the reverse, or as a necklace pendant using the integrated double-loop bail on the back.
