View Antique Hand-Painted NIPPON Bowl Zinnias With Gold Moriage ~ Scalloped Edge with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. This has an interesting history in that it was owned by a rancher who never married, but loved expensive, unusual glass & dishes. He left the price on almost everything of his that I saw (during the number of sales that were held) - so, I left the price on this as well. I thought you might find it interesting. The mark is unusual for Nippon - see picture 5. I did not have time to pursue what the mark means - perhaps you know. The flowers are not typical for Nippon - they totally look like zinnias to me. The leaves are very well done also. The only wear that is discernable is on the inner points in the beige color - very minor for a bowl of this age.
