This is a true piece of traditional textile art, featuring a massive eight-pointed central star radiating with beautifully coordinated navy blue polka-dot florals and soft tan calico cotton fabrics. Key Features & Craftsmanship:100% Hand-Crafted: This quilt is completely hand-pieced and hand-quilted. The stunning background sections feature intricately hand-stitched feather wreath designs and parallel cable accent lines. Stitch Quality: Masterfully quilted by hand with an impressive and consistent density of 6 to 7 stitches per inch. Dimensions: Measures approximately 82 inches long by 66 inches wide. Perfect for a Twin bed, a Full/Double bed coverlet, a large couch throw, or a wall display. Era: Circa 1980s / 1990s, utilizing highly collectible traditional reproduction calico prints. Condition (Sold As-Is):The quilt structural integrity is excellent, with tight seams and secure hand-stitching throughout. There is a faint, light brown age/storage spot on the backing fabric (clearly documented in the photos). The spot has been gently pre-treated and is actively lifting/lightening, but the quilt is being sold entirely as-is to allow the next collector to finish treating it with their preferred method.
