I purchased these earrings before I retired but never wore it. The earrings were designed by Carolyn Pollack and made in Albuquerque, New Mexico USA by skilled Native American artisans who handcraft each element of the piece. They were designed by Carolyn Pollack to be a heirloom piece that can be handed down for generations.  Carolyn Pollack began her Southwest jewelry business in Albuquerque, New Mexico USA in 1975. She began her interest in design when she was a child helping her mother sew clothing. She loved the Native American stories she grew up hearing and decided to open a business for Southwest Native American jewelry to continue the legacy that she loved. She located her business in USA using Native Americans as craftsmen, manufacturing everything by hand using Native American designs and American products. She designed a stunning line of jewelry that has transcended not only the traditional western style to a timeless, refined, glamorous, and incredible fashion statement. Ms. Pollack’s company closed in 2023 due to her retirement and now QVC has taken over the jewelry line and now items are manufactured out of the country. I am now retired and downsizing my own personal jewelry collection. All items are authentic and were purchased from reputable retailers. Most of the jewelry is new in the original pouch and boxes.
