These elegant platters feature a rich deep cobalt blue ground , extensive gold scrollwork and gilded detailing , scalloped/wavy edges, and delicate hand-painted-style floral bouquets in the center. Each platter has a slightly different floral arrangement, making the pair especially attractive when displayed together. Both pieces feature the distinctive Reichenbach crown and “R” mark on the underside along with markings identifying them as fine china made in the German Democratic Republic.
