Condition & Quality — Excellent vintage condition. All-original paint remains stable with vibrant hues. The faces & hands are beautifully preserved with no chips to the delicate noses. NOTE a small hair flake located on the right side of the head of the standing Angel (see photos w/ pointer) - not readily apparent from normal viewing distance. All figures stand solidly on firmly attached green & yellow original bases. Era & Material — 1950s–1960s. Crafted from traditional Italian paper-mache / composite. Artistry & Color Kneeling Angels (2):  Sky-blue gowns w/ contrasting navy blue sashes. Standing Angel (1):  Light blue gown w/ a navy rope accent belt. All three figurines feature brilliantly hand-painted gold wings which are in perfect condition. Special Features — Notice the serene, adoring facial expressions, elegant elongated hands, sweeping, graceful folds in the tunics and those magnificent gold wings! Origin — Expertly hand-painted in Italy; stamped "ITALY" and "HAND PAINTED" on the bases. Measurements Standing Angel: Approximately 5" H x 2.25" W (wing span). Kneeling Angels: Approximately 3.5" H x 2.25" W (wing span). Rare to find a coordinated trio of these mid-century Italian paper-mache angels in such superior state of preservation.
