This is a beautiful pre-Colombian most likely classical period Mayan pot/dish. It came from a large collection of pre-Colombian items and the ceiling is quite well preserved. Has some minor chipping and flaws with the finish, but considering it’s age, it is a miracle that it survived at all. Still has fairly bright colors in the glazing color.
