See all pics and use zoom.   Antique Hand Painted Porcelain JAPANESE GEISHA SCENE Chocolate Pot w/ Lid COBALT Also great for espresso or coffee.  2 Pieces Total-  1 Tall Chocolate Pot [ without lid] sized 7 5/8" high, opening is 5" long   1 Lid sized 2 3/8" tall with a 2 3/8" diameter round center which fits into pot/  Pot with lid is 8.75" high Base is 5.25" diameter  Genuine circa approx. 1900 EXTREMELY LAVISHLY decorated, gorgeous details. A tall-necked shape with rounded ribbed body which flares out at base Features gorgeous meticulously hand painted scenes of Geishas in full traditional costume. They are seated and walking through a beautiful Asian landscape of lush flowers and trees, with a temple house in the background Cobalt blue scallops at top and base are quite striking    Extremely fancy handle has both cobalt and rusty orange coloration and scrolled swirls  Glossy white porcelain inside and out Extremely elegant and delicate elongated lines to the spout and handle of pot Decorated with gold gilt swirls and patterning at top and base, plus on handle and rim   Excellent condition to lid and pot, marvelous for age- absolutely no nicks, chips, flakes, cracks, crazing, scratches, breaks or repair. No fading to glaze, paint, or design. Some minor light wear to the gold trim, very VERY faint.
