It stands on a sturdy, circular base; and features matte glaze decorated with gold bands and an alternating Sgraffito incised cross hatching Chevron pattern. This listing is for a rare mid century Bitossi Seta (Silk) Series vase, designed by Aldo Londi, Italy; circa 1960. The jar is a tall, cylindrical vessel with a domed ornate lid. The top of the lid is crowned with a gold finial. The jar is primarily a creamy white color with intricate gold detailing. It stands on a sturdy, circular base; and features matte glaze decorated with gold bands and an alternating Sgraffito incised cross hatching Chevron pattern. The interior is glazed turquoise. Signed in black on the underside "RF 9202/13 Italy". Gently used, it shows small surface nicks , with no chips, cracks, breaks or restoration. There is sediment at the interior base .
